Meet Henry! He's a 2-year-old, 14 lb Chihuahua with a heart of gold! Henry can be a bit shy with new people and in unfamiliar situations, but once he feels comfortable and trusts you, he’s an absolute sweetheart and is as wiggly as can be. He’s looking for humans who understand that some dogs need a bit more time to settle in. With patience and the chance to come out of his shell, his affectionate and loving nature really shines through. This boy loves a walk through the neighborhood, entertaining himself with squeaking toys, and cuddle time with his people. Henry has done well with other dogs and prefers the company of other pups who are just as happy to co-exist as he is! On walks, he enjoys greeting dogs with a sniff before happily moving along. He is both potty and crate-trained and walks great on leash. Henry has been working through some slight separation anxiety, but his foster has found that giving him a safe space in his crate seems to really help. Henry will do best in a forever home with no small children so he can live out his wishes for a quiet and laid-back lifestyle.
