Meet our Adoptable Pups
Nearly 16,500 families have found their forever friends through Wags & Walks, and you can too.
Most of our dogs live in foster homes while they wait to be adopted, which helps us learn their personalities and prepare them for life with their forever families. Some dogs are also available to meet at our adoption centers.

Meet Strawberry!
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: 3 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 52 lbs
This 3-year-old, 52-lb gal is a silly pup with so much love to give. Strawberry was found chained up in a junkyard and suddenly went from living surrounded by trash to sitting in a high-kill shelter. When what she needed most was a place to heal, she was met with more uncertainty. Despite being failed so horribly by humans, Strawberry wants to connect. It was clear after spending just a few minutes with her that she is a sweet, affectionate girl who just wants to be loved. Now in our care, Strawberry is ready to find the loving home she deserves! She loves getting cuddles from her trusted people, and when she feels safe, she lets her playful, affectionate personality come out. This devoted girl wants to be wherever you are and will happily soak up as many pets and cuddles as she can get. She’s even starting to get curious about toys and is starting to let herself have fun. Strawberry attended a board and train program at Canine School of Behavior to help build her confidence and set her up for success in her forever home. This smart girl is fully potty-trained, does well in her crate, and walks well on leash. She thrives with clear boundaries and would love affectionate adopters who will continue to guide her and advocate for her comfort. If you’re looking for a best friend who will be your loving, loyal shadow, Strawberry could be your girl!
Hello! My name is Moona. I was recently rescued, so the people at Wags are still getting to know me, but here are the basics:
Breed: Husky Mix
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 61 lbs
Meet Lilac!
Breed: Terrier Mix
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 29 lbs
Lilac was brought to a crowded shelter while pregnant and gave birth to three puppies just five days later. When her puppies were only nine days old, we learned about their situation and welcomed the whole family into our care so they could grow up safe and supported. All of Lilac's puppies have found their forever homes, so now, it's their mama's turn to meet her perfect match!
Lilac is a sweet, social, medium-energy gal who enjoys spending time with her people and pup friends and entertaining herself with her toys. She is always super excited to spend time outside and gets the silliest zoomies. She loves to explore when she's out and about, and we think she could make an excellent adventure buddy. Lilac can be a bit shy when meeting new friends, but quickly opens up with a little encouragement.
This lovable gal is fully potty-trained and working on perfecting her leash manners and already knows how to sit patiently while getting ready for walks. If you're looking for a gentle, resilient companion with lots of love to give, Lilac might be the perfect match!

Note: I recently had my back leg amputated because it was causing me a lot of pain. Now I’m a super cool tripod!
Meet Pesto!
Breed: Pug Mix
Age: 3 years old
Gender: Male
Weight: 16 lbs
This 3-year-old, 16-lb Pug mix is a fun, sweet pup. We fell in love with Pesto’s irresistible underbite at an overcrowded shelter where he had been brought as a stray. Now, safely in our care, he is coming out of his shell and showing us what a sweetheart he is. He wants to be wherever you are and will follow you from room to room as your loyal shadow once he trusts you. He can be hesitant when meeting new friends, but warms up with patience and gentle pets. He loves going for walks and exploring the great outdoors. This smart boy is working on perfecting his household basics and walks beautifully on a leash. He will thrive with patient, loving adopters who understand that healing takes time. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion, Pesto could be your boy!

Meet Herbie!
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: 1 year old
Gender: Male
Weight: 55 lbs
This 1-year-old, 55-lb pup is a big love bug. We rescued Herbie from a local shelter where he greeted us with an adorable prance and a wagging tail. Now safely in our care, he is ready to find his people. This sweet boy is a beautiful love bug who wants affection from his people, a comfy sunlit nap spot, and a chew toy. He will happily roll over for as many belly rubs as he can get. Herbie loves his neighborhood walks and playtime in the yard. This smart boy is fully potty-trained, does well in his crate, and walks well on a leash. He also knows several commands, including ‘sit’ and ‘shake’. Herbie will thrive with adopters who are excited to shower him with love and guide him as he continues to grow up. If you’re looking for a well-balanced mix of play and snuggles, Herbie could be the pup for you!
Meet Blossom! This 4-year-old, 58lb mixed-breed girl is a loving, wiggly-butt sweetheart with a playful side and so much love to give! After coming into our care from a neglect situation, Blossom is ready to leave her difficult past behind and find a home of her own. Blossom is an easygoing girl who is wonderful to handle. She walks nicely on leash without pulling and is happiest hanging out near her people and soaking up attention. Once she's in the yard, her playful personality really comes out! She loves exploring, entertaining herself, and checking in with her people for some pets along the way. She's also very treat motivated and already showing off her good manners, happily sitting and even lying down for treats. She'll happily sneak over for affection, sometimes even rubbing against you like a cat! It's so cute. Blossom does well with other dogs and has shown that she can adjust her play style to different canine personalities. She'd likely enjoy having a friendly dog around, though she could thrive in a variety of homes. This sweet girl is ready for her next chapter, and we can't wait to watch her blossom in a forever home!
Meet Clancy, Cherry, and Charlotte! These 8-week-old Beagle mix puppies are sweet, playful, and expected to be medium-sized when fully grown. Like any typical puppy, Clancy, Cherry, and Charlotte are curious, energetic, affectionate, and excited to experience everything the world has to offer. They're still at the very beginning of their training journey, so their adopters should be ready for all the fun (and work!) that comes with puppyhood. These friendly pups could thrive in a variety of homes. They'd likely enjoy having a canine sibling to play with and learn from, but they'd also be perfectly happy as spoiled solo puppies soaking up all the attention. If you're ready for puppy cuddles, zoomies, training sessions, and all the hilarious chaos that comes with raising a young dog, Clancy, Cherry, or Charlotte could be your perfect match!

Meet Casey! This 1.5-year-old, 55lb Poodle mix is a friendly, energetic guy who is ready to find a family of his own! Casey came into our care after being abandoned on a farm, but despite his rough start, he's a sweet young dog who is excited to experience the good life. Casey is a playful, curious pup who loves being around people and is always eager to get out and explore. He's got plenty of energy and can get a little excited when greeting people, but he's already showing that he can settle into a nice rhythm once he's out and about. On walks, he does well on leash and enjoys taking in everything around him. He's curious about his surroundings and loves checking out what's happening nearby! Casey has also done well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion to play with. He'd thrive with a family ready to give him plenty of exercise, enrichment, and continued guidance as he works on his manners. After being given such an uncertain start, Casey is ready for something much better: a home where he's loved, included, and given the chance to be the happy, goofy dog he's meant to be!
Meet Posy, Percy, and Penn! These 7-month-old Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mixes are sweet, friendly pups weighing between 28–35lbs, with plenty of growing left to do! They're expected to grow into large dogs, so their future families should be ready for some big best friends. They're friendly and should thrive in a variety of homes, whether that's with a canine sibling to play with and learn from or as spoiled solo pups soaking up all the attention. At 7 months old, Posy, Percy, and Penn are still very much puppies and will need adopters who are excited to continue guiding them through puppyhood as they learn and grow. Because of their breed mix and expected size, they'd likely thrive best in a home with a fenced-in yard or direct access to the outdoors. If you're ready for the fun, commitment, and puppy antics that come with raising a young dog, one of these sweet pups could be your perfect match!

Meet Susie, Sampson, and Sheree! These 5-month-old Shepherd mix puppies are each weighing in between 33–38lbs. These big-pawed puppies are already growing and expected to be very large dogs! These three are your typical happy, playful puppies who are curious about the world and excited to be part of whatever you're doing. Like any young puppy, they're still learning all about manners, potty training, crate training, and how to navigate life in a home, so their future families should be ready for the fun (and work!) that comes with puppyhood. They'd likely enjoy having a canine sibling to learn and play with, but they'd also be perfectly happy being spoiled as the only pup in the house. Susie, Sampson, and Sheree are expected to grow into XL-sized dogs, so adopters should be prepared for the commitment that comes with raising a very large best friend. If you're ready for puppy cuddles, one of these big-pawed babies could be your perfect match!

Meet Catfish!
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: 6 months old
Gender: Male
Weight: 35 lbs
Catfish is a happy, confident little guy with a personality that's impossible not to love. After his sister, Cornbread, traveled to the Hamptons and found a loving forever home in record time, we knew Catfish deserved the same chance!
Expected to be medium-sized when fully grown, Catfish has quickly become a foster favorite, with his foster describing him as the "perfect puppy!" He strikes the ideal balance between playful and cuddly, happily entertaining himself with toys, zooming around the yard, or chasing his own tail before curling up on the couch for a cozy nap. He loves Kong toys, enjoys walks, and is just as happy playing with his people as he is relaxing by their side. This sweet boy absolutely adores other dogs and has gotten along beautifully with every pup he's met. He loves playing, cuddling, and spending time with his foster's resident dogs. He's also incredibly social with people and has never met a stranger!
Catfish has wonderful manners for such a young puppy. He walks nicely on leash, settles easily, and has been doing fantastic with both crate and potty training. He sleeps soundly through the night in his crate, happily eats his meals there, and relaxes quietly for a few hours at a time during the day without making a peep. If you're looking for an affectionate, easygoing puppy who's down to be your adventure buddy and cuddle buddy, Catfish is ready to find his people!

Davey is the kind of dog who could easily be overlooked, but we can guarantee that this sweet guy is something special! If you're looking for a loyal companion with plenty of charm, Davey might just be your perfect match.

We love everything this organization stands for (from rescuing, to providing medical care, funding treatment, donating supplies, gathering volunteers to transport and foster and then to finally bringing happiness home)-- we are beyond proud to play a small part of this wonderful community!

We cannot thank Wags and Walks enough for bringing Cannoli into our lives. What started as a foster for Lennon from The Beatles litter quickly turned into a foster failure, as we saw how seamlessly Cannoli fit into our family. Wags and Walks made the process easy, which helped confirm that we were making the right decision!

Forever indebted to Wags & Walks for bringing this girl home to us. What started off as a foster, turned into us adopting our fur family member we couldn’t imagine life without. The foster program and adoption program are exceptional and there’s really no other place you need to search. Their work is incredible and inspiring! Could not admire the team behind Wags & Walks more!
