This 1-year-old, 43-lb pup is a sweet, loving boy who, in just one year, has already been through so much. Owl and his brothers, Pooh and Eeyore, were picked up as strays and brought to the shelter in critical condition. All three were severely malnourished and completely infested with fleas and ticks. We knew that after all they had been through, they deserved a second chance, so we decided to take them in. They received urgent medical exams upon their arrival at our rescue. Our team worked quickly to get them stable, and now all three boys are doing well on their way to becoming normal, healthy pups. All Owl needs is a loving forever home.

He is an absolute love bug who greets everyone he meets with kisses and a wagging tail. Owl is happiest when he’s able to relax and cuddle up with his favorite people. He has lived well with little kids and other dogs in his foster home. This social, outgoing guy enjoys exploring when he's out and about and is doing well with pack walks with his foster siblings. He's even done great living with a toddler in his foster home. This 8-year-old, 12-lb mixed-breed guy is a lovable, spunky senior. We rescued Grubs from a local shelter, where he had contracted a bad upper respiratory infection. Thankfully, we were able to get him the medical care he needed, and he is now healthy and thriving in our care. Now, he is looking for a forever home where he can spend his golden years feeling safe and loved. This goofy little boy still has plenty of pep in his step and absolutely loves playtime and getting as many belly rubs as possible. One of his favorite activities so far has been pushing a ball around the yard that is roughly the same size as him, if not a little bigger. He may act like a grumpy old man sometimes, but right under that curmudgeonly exterior, he is a snuggly love bug who could happily spend hours curled up in your lap or next to you on the couch. This 1-year-old, 55-lb Doberman is a playful ball of energy. Cher and her siblings were found as strays on the streets of Bakersfield, CA. They were covered in Demodex mange, a debilitating skin infection, and extremely malnourished. When they arrived at the shelter, they were scheduled to be euthanized. We got to them just before their deadline. Thankfully, they received the care they needed, and her siblings have already been adopted. Now, it’s Cher’s turn. This fun, affectionate girl loves to play and gets along with other dogs. She is a ball of youthful energy and enjoys sniffing around on walks and getting her wiggles out in the yard. Cher is a smart pup who is fully potty-trained, knows several commands, and completed a training program with CORCHA Balanced K9 where she solidified her training foundations. Meet Wormie!

We rescued Wormie after one of our team members saw an online community post about a puppy living in the parking lot of a flower shop. He had been seen there for several days, with only a pile of dirt to call home. Our team went out in the middle of the night to pick him up and get him to safety. Since coming into our care, Wormie has blossomed into a sweet, smart, and affectionate boy! This sweet pup is a playful, goofy guy who loves playtime and cuddles like a pro. He is a ball of youthful energy who is eager to please and gets along well with other dogs, especially if they are looking for a playmate. He can be shy when meeting new friends, but warms up with proper introductions (and a delicious treat or two)!

Wormie completed a training program with Canine School of Behavior, where he built his confidence and mastered his training basics. This smart boy is extremely food-motivated, which makes him a very fast learner! ⁠He is fully potty-trained, does well in his crate, and walks nicely on a leash. Wormie still has plenty of puppy energy and thrives with structure and guidance. He would make a great companion for an active adopter or someone looking for a friend who can keep up with their playful dog! Meet Caleb!

This sweet senior boy is a 13-year-old, 15-lb Chihuahua mix. Caleb can be a bit timid around new people and in new situations, but once he is comfortable and trusts you, he's the sweetest boy! He's looking for humans who are understanding of dogs that may take a little bit of time to warm up. Being patient and letting him come out of his shell makes his affectionate and sweet side all the more rewarding. Once he warms up, he will always jump up on your lap and roll over for belly rubs. This sweet boy loves playing with his stuffed toys, lounging around, and taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. Caleb has done well co-existing with other dogs and prefers the company of other pups who are just as happy to lounge and relax as he is! He’s an 8-year-old, 61-lb mixed-breed fellow with a warm heart and an affectionate nature! Krinkle was surrendered to the shelter when his previous owners moved and couldn’t take him along. Just a few days later, we met him, and it was love at first sight. Once in our care, our medical team discovered a painful mass in his left eye, and to help him live a happy and pain-free life, his eye had to be removed. And he’s absolutely thriving now! This gentle, affectionate boy is a total lovebug who adores being around people. He greets everyone he meets with a wiggly body, leans in close for pets, and soaks up every ounce of affection he can get. He enjoys playing with his stuffed toys and getting his wiggles out in the great outdoors. Krinkle is fully potty-trained, does well in his crate, and is working on perfecting his leash manners.
