Meet our Adoptable Pups
Nearly 16,500 families have found their forever friends through Wags & Walks, and you can too.
Most of our dogs live in foster homes while they wait to be adopted, which helps us learn their personalities and prepare them for life with their forever families. Some dogs are also available to meet at our adoption centers.

Who We Are
Wags and Walks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue dedicated to saving at-risk dogs and helping them find loving homes.
Founded in 2011 by Lesley Brog, we partner with overcrowded shelters to rescue dogs in need and place them in foster homes while they wait for adoption. Today, with locations in Los Angeles and Nashville, more than 16,500 dogs have found their forever families through Wags & Walks.
Through our Wags for Good initiative, we also support pets and families in our communities by expanding access to veterinary care, pet food resources, and emergency support programs that help keep dogs healthy and in loving homes.

Meet Caleb!
Breed: Chihuahua Mix
Age: 13 years old
Gender: Male
Weight: 15 lbs
This sweet senior boy is a 13-year-old, 15-lb Chihuahua mix. Caleb can be a bit timid around new people and in new situations, but once he is comfortable and trusts you, he's the sweetest boy! He's looking for humans who are understanding of dogs that may take a little bit of time to warm up. Being patient and letting him come out of his shell makes his affectionate and sweet side all the more rewarding. Once he warms up, he will always jump up on your lap and roll over for belly rubs. This sweet boy loves playing with his stuffed toys, lounging around, and taking leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. Caleb has done well co-existing with other dogs and prefers the company of other pups who are just as happy to lounge and relax as he is! This boy loves a good cuddle session with his people, a slow-paced neighborhood stroll, and lounging in the sunshine. He is potty trained on a schedule and settles into his crate. Caleb will do best in a home with no small children so he can live out his wishes for a quiet and slow-paced life. If you're looking for a small breed dog in their golden years, apply for Caleb!
