She is a sweet, gentle girl with her trusted people and is blossoming as she gets more comfortable. Scallop can be hesitant in new environments, but warms up with time and encouragement. She is an affectionate pup who wants love from her people and will sit by your side for gentle pets. This smart girl is fully potty-trained, does well in her crate, and walks well on a leash. It appeared she had been bred multiple times in her life, and once her body could give no more, she was abandoned. An animal control officer found her and cared for her, helping her begin her recovery before she eventually made her way to us. Despite everything she’s been through, Midge is an incredibly loving social butterfly who simply wants to be close to her people. She loves everyone she meets and does especially well meeting kids.
