Whitney
Meet Whitney! This adorable little pup is a one-year-old Miniature Pinscher weighing a dainty 8 lbs. Whitney has spent much of her young life overcoming health challenges, but thanks to our dedicated medical team and her loving foster, she’s now on the right path. Whitney has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), a condition that requires lifelong medication and a carefully managed diet—but with the right care and routine, she’s thriving! Now that she’s feeling her best, Whitney is ready to find a forever family to give her the love and stability she deserves.
Whitney is a sweet and spunky girl who loves making friends with everyone she meets. Now that she's feeling better, she's blossomed into the silly and playful pup she's meant to be. She loves spending time outside, entertaining herself with toys, romping around with her fur friends, and most of all, soaking up all the attention she can get from her people. Whitney has been hard at work mastering her basics with the help of her foster. Crate training has gone wonderfully, and she now has a great relationship with her crate. She's potty-trained on a schedule and will let you know when she needs to go. Whitney loves going on walks and would benefit from continued leash training to help her gain confidence and perfect her manners. With patience and consistency, she’s sure to become the perfect little walking companion! Whitney will need an adopter who is committed to managing her daily medication and dietary needs to keep her feeling her best. She may not be a low-maintenance pup, but her loving nature and spunky personality make every bit of care worthwhile. Serious adopters who want to learn more about Whitney’s specific needs can apply, and our team will be happy to go over her care requirements in detail.
