Meet Spork! This 4-year-old, 73 lb, Pittie boy is as charming and handsome as they come. Spork instantly won our staff over with his friendly and loving demeanor. He greets everyone he meets with kisses and a wagging tail and is a big cuddler! He's a friendly boy who is always excited to meet new people and pups. Spork has a well-balanced energy level and did well with dogs in the playgroup. He prefers other pups who will happily coexist as he isn't a rough and rowdy playmate. He'd do well in a variety of homes and would just as happily rock solo-pup life as he would enjoy life with a sibling.
Spork has been settling in at his foster home where he's getting a head start on his training. He's food-motivated and eager to please, and we have no doubt he'll make the best companion in his forever home! He's making progress on his leash training, but he's a strong and excitable boy so he will need a confident handler who has experience with training large breed pups. Spork’s foster is helping him feel more comfortable when it’s time to be on his own. He’s a quick learner and will continue to flourish with the right support.
