Join us Saturday, January 21st, 9-10am for Wags Kids Paws & Pajamas: Baking Edition!
Wags Kids will enjoy time with adoptable cuties all while learning about the importance of rescue, reading to pups and making treats for our rescues!
Please note:
Children ages 5-12 are invited to join Wags Kids for Paws & Pajamas, our monthly kids reading and humane education program!
Space is limited, so all attendees must be registered and confirmed. No extra guests, please! 1 sign up per child.
A parent or guardian must be present. You may join your child for reading time or join us for coffee, tea, and light snacks in the lobby.
Pajamas are welcome and close-toed shoes are required.
The benefits of reading to shelter dogs are praised by educational programs and rescue organizations alike, so we are excited to offer this program to our community.
Wags Kids are encouraged to bring a favorite book or two from home, or they can choose from our library of beloved dog books. After a brief safety orientation and mini-lesson facilitated by our staff, the kids will be paired with a pup to read.
