Meet Mabel
Our sweet girl, Mabel, is here to share that our annual fundraiser kicks off today! For the month of May, Wags & Walks Nashville will be raising critical funds that will allow us to continue saving dogs like Mabel, who are often overlooked and the most vulnerable in overcrowded shelters.
Queen Mabel, as her foster calls her, is a 4-year-old bulldog weighing in at a solid 55 lbs. She came to us from our local shelter, had a leg injury, and was clearly overbred. Despite this, Mabel has proved to be a loving girl who enjoys being around her humans and making new friends, people, and pups alike. She loves exploring the great outdoors and snoozing in the grass, but also enjoys snuggling up on the couch for some quality bonding time. She is a well-behaved girl who is house-trained and rests well in her crate.
Although Mabel is a happy-go-lucky dog, she does have some medical needs. She requires a TPLO surgery to fix her torn cruciate ligament and also needs to see a specialist for her luxating patella. However, don't let that deter you from giving Mabel a forever home, as Wags & Walks will cover the cost of her medical needs. With proper care and treatment, this girl will be on her way to feeling good as new!
This beauty is looking for a loving family who will give her all the cuddles and belly rubs she deserves. If you love bulldogs and have always wanted a go-with-the-flow couch potato, look no further than Mabel!
