Our Pepper girl is ready to find her forever family! This 1-year old, Boxer mix is 30 lbs of pure love. Pepper came to us with severe wounds all over her head and neck. She has shown us everyday since how resilient, loving and sweet dogs can be despite everything that has happened to them in the past. Pepper's physical wounds are now healed and she's been cleared for adoption!
Pepper is as sweet as they come and greets every person she meets with tail wags and kisses. She loves soaking up all the cuddles and affection from her humans! If you're looking for a cuddle buddy for your cozy winter nights, Pepper is your girl. Although we don't know Pepper's full backstory, with the state she arrived to our care in, we can assume she didn't have the best life. She's been working hard while at our center to gain confidence and has made great strides but she'll need an adopter dedicated to continuing to teach her the world doesn't have to be a scary place. She's done well with other petite dog friends in our playgroups and would do well with a dog in her forever home to help show her the ropes but could also rock solo pup life with an experienced and patient adopter. Pepper is a testament to why so many of us get involved in rescue and we cannot wait to see her continue to blossom in her forever home!
