Myrtle
Meet Myrtle! This sweet little one is a one-year-old Maltese weighing a grand 4 pounds. Myrtle walks with a bit of an unsteady step due to suspected cerebral hypoplasia, but it only makes her more special. She’s happy, almost fully mobile, and full of love—just with a little extra wiggle in her walk! She does best on softer surfaces such as grass or rugs. Tile and hardwood floors can be tricky for her at times.
Her foster reports that Myrtle is a total soul dog. Myrtle loves nothing more than being with her people and making as many friends as possible. She’s great around kids and is truly a pleasure to be around! She loves entertaining herself with her stuffed toys, going on adventures with her foster, and soaking up all the cuddles and belly rubs she can get. Myrtle has been living with a few foster fur siblings and loves the company, so we think she would love one in her forever home. She would be just as content soaking up all the attention as a solo pup! Myrtle would do best in a forever home that can support her along her medical journey and provide her with all the affection. She has been wearing diapers since she can sometimes struggle with holding her bladder because of her suspected diagnosis.
