Meet Cherry! This beauty is a 2-year-old, 32 lb, mixed breed pup. Cherry came to us from the San Bernardino hoarding case that we shared about recently, where we took in 33 dogs from the same property. She was a recent Mama and after taking care of her pups she's ready to find a forever home of her own!
She can be timid in new environments and around new people, but once you gain her trust she's the biggest love bug. With the help of her fosters, she's started to blossom into an affectionate and loving pup. She will need patience while settling into a new environment since the sights and sounds of the world are new to her.
Cherry is catching on well to her basic training and is now potty trained, and is settling well in her crate when people are around and is making progress with learning her crate is a safe space when she's left alone. This gal is dog-friendly and would likely thrive in a home with a confident dog to show her the ropes but has also done well soaking up all the love and attention in her foster where she is a solo pup.
