Foster Friday: Wags Alumni Turned Foster
Welcome to our December edition of Foster Friday! This week we are celebrating an amazing member of the Wags family who not only adopted a Wags alumni, but also returned to foster with us! She is most recently fostered Piggy, a sweet 2-year-old pittie mix. Maria is committed to helping Wags year-round, but is currently helping us bring dogs home for the holidays, because no one should have to spend the holidays alone - especially recently rescued pups!
Wags & Walks Holiday Shopping Guide
This year has been challenging to say the least, so we thought we would share our best holiday shopping and gift ideas to make this season a little bit merrier. Iliana is currently fostering Chrissy, one of the most adorable pit puppies we've laid eyes on. Despite these challenging times, Iliana continues to provide a loving place for Wags & Walks' pups in need. Read on to learn more about her passion for fostering and why she thinks you should give it a try!
Celebrate National Pit Bull Awareness Day on October 26
National Pit Bull Awareness Day was created to educate communities, spread awareness, and combat stereotypes of bully breeds. Rescue-lovers everywhere can use this day to advocate for deserving dogs that may otherwise not get a second chance. Pit bulls are one of the most misunderstood breeds out there and, unfortunately, they are the most often euthanized in our local shelters. Help us celebrate this special day and raise awareness for how wonderful dogs pit bulls can be!
