Dogs will learn basic leash handling skills, how to overcome new/scary obstacles and gain confidence
Dogs will be climbing over, crawling under and balancing on different obstacles
Recommend for dogs over 6 months

Paint Your Pet Class with Painted Paw Studio
Join us for a Paint Your Pet Class led by Sarah Shearer!
Sarah will sketch your pet’s onto the canvas in advance, setting you up to create the paw-fect masterpiece as you learn how to complete a portrait of your beloved pet! Let your creativity flow in this accessible, fun paint night- no prior art experience required.
With registration you receive:
🖌 8” x 10” canvas
🎨 Use of acrylic paints, brushes and all other art supplies needed
🐾 Your furry friend hand sketched onto the canvas by pet portrait artist, Sarah Shearer
👩🏻🎨 Two hours guided painting time

Puppy Training Class
Puppy Training Class at Wags & Walks Adoption Center will be fantastic for puppies 2-4 months old.
Session 1: Friday, April 5th at 9:00 AM
Session 2: Friday, April 26th at 9:00 AM
Led by Mackenzie Kuzlik of K9 Tails of Success, this series focuses on potty and crate training tips, leash training, appropriate socialization, and more information to help raise your puppy into a happy, confident adult dog. We will also start practicing basic obedience skills such as sitting, down, and coming when called.
Bring your pup on a leash, pack some kibble to reward them throughout the class, and we'll see you at the Adoption Center!
This class will cap at eight puppies
A $80 donation is required and all proceeds go back to our rescue pups!
Wags Pack Walk
Join us for a fun and productive pack walk! This is the perfect opportunity to practice leash training and proper socialization with your pup in a supportive environment.
What to Expect:
30 minutes of group work: We'll focus on leash training, ensuring your dog is comfortable and confident.
30 minutes of trail/path walking: Practice passing other dogs calmly and without stress as we walk through the park.
What to Bring:
Your dog on a leash (no retractable leashes, please).
Plenty of kibble or treats to reward your dog throughout the session.

For dog owners looking for direct coaching and hands-on training with Nikki.
Each working dog must have one primary training focus (e.g., leash pulling, crating, place command—no broad areas).
Working spots are for both days.
Owners must bring a crate for their dog to be securely placed in when not actively working.
Audit / Watch Spot - $100 per day
Ideal for those who want to observe, take notes, and ask questions while watching working dogs.
Auditors can record videos and take notes throughout the seminar.
Nikki will hold a Q&A session after each working session to address audience questions.
Discount: $175 if purchasing both days.
Additional Information:
Aggressive dogs must be muzzled – owners of human- or animal-aggressive dogs must sign a liability waiver before attending.

Low-cost Vaccine & Microchip Clinic
Get your pup the annual basic vetting they need! Open to the public, first come first serve, we have capacity for 65 attendees.
All dogs must be leashed and kept 6 feet or more apart from other dogs onsite.
You will fill out a form at our check-in table and then wait with your pup in your vehicle and receive a text when it’s your turn!

Show your loved ones how much you care this Valentine’s Day by donating for a puppy-gram in their honor! What’s better than puppy love?!
How it works: Fill out this form and make your donation at the link below. Once both are complete, a team member will be in touch with additional details. Make a $10 donation per puppy-gram you would like to send. Your loved one will receive an adorable puppy GIF via text and you’ll have supported our life-saving work in their honor!
Puppy-grams will be sent out via text or email on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.

In Person Valentines Day Puppygrams!
Let our rescue puppies come to you! This might be our new favorite day of the year. We’re not only offering digital puppygrams this year, but we’re also doing in-person deliveries on Valentine’s Day! Our in-person puppygram means a snuggly pup will be delivered to your Valentine's, friend's, employee's, or loved one’s doorstep by a Wags staff member or volunteer.
How it works: Fill out this form and donate using the link below.
Once both are complete, a team member will be in touch with additional details.
Deliveries will happen between 9 am-6 pm on the 14th, and 10 am-2 pm on the 15th.
$150 donation - 15-minute visit

Current fosters and those interested in fostering - we’d love to hang with you and one of our training partners, Nikki Varva, for a night of drinks, education, and foster tips and tricks. We will break down common issues and questions that come up and equip you to take on a foster pup and save a life!
