Meet Lil Jim, an 8-year-old, 12lb Shih-Tzu mix with a heart full of love and a story of resilience. Lil Jim is one of the last two pups from the Camden cruelty case still searching for his forever home. When rescued, Lil Jim’s left eye was severely damaged from irreversible ulcers, and after careful consideration by veterinarians, his eye was removed to ensure his long-term wellbeing. Since then, Lil Jim has been healing and catching up on his rest in foster care, and is now ready to find his forever home! Despite being half-blind and mostly deaf, Lil Jim embraces life just like any other pup! This sweet senior is potty and crate-trained, and he gets along well with other mild-mannered dogs. Lil Jim’s favorite activities are lounging around and, of course, enjoying his mealtimes. He may be a little guy with some extra years under his belt, but he still has so much love to give.
