Help Olive Heal

When we received the photo of Olive from one of our shelter partners, we knew it was urgent. Her eye had ruptured, and at only eight weeks old and 2.5 lbs - the odds were stacked against her. She was dumped on a farm, and the shelter had nowhere for her to go, and Olive would have to be euthanized if we couldn't commit immediately. Although we came off of our most expensive medical month yet - we knew we had to help.

Olive was rushed to our vets and will enter surgery immediately to remove her ruptured eye. Her right eye is also in critical condition - but we are hopeful that with diligent and top-of-the-line vet care that we can save it, but we won't know for a few weeks if her eye will respond to the treatment.

We are grateful to our vets at Animal House Vet for immediately getting her on the surgery schedule to prevent further infection and set her up for the best recovery we can give her. Olive has the brightest spirit. Though she has gone through so much, we will help her navigate her new reality.
