Marceline
Meet Marceline, a gentle, sweet girl with so much love to give! This beauty is a 2-year-old, 61lb mixed-breed pup with a sweet and tender personality who is also the mama to the Adventure Time litter. At first, Marceline can come off timid in new environments and with new people, but after a few head scratches and sweet talk, she is happy to receive all your love! Marceline likes to live life in the slow lane, at least right now as she’s adjusting. She’s been acclimating to this new chapter and learning about life with daily walks, lots of snuggles, and playing with toys. Her favorite things involve casual strolls around the neighborhood, long naps, and nuzzling for cuddles!
Marceline has recently transitioned to foster care and is starting to really open up to being in a home setting. We imagine she will get more comfortable over time as she builds her confidence in her forever home. Marceline seems unbothered by the presence of other dogs but does best around other mild-mannered pups. She would be comfortable as a solo pup or as a furry sibling to other laid-back dogs. Given her timid nature, we think she would do best in a home with older children who can give her space as she learns to trust at her own pace. She has done great with potty training, but it still working on learning that her crate is a safe space. She seems to understand a few basic commands, walks well on the leash, and is eager to please. Marceline will do well in a variety of homes but will thrive with an owner who is excited to continue her training and build her confidence so she can continue to grow and shine!
