Thumper

Meet Thumper! This pint-sized pup is a 2-year-old, 11lb, chi mix. He is a nervous little guy who was at-risk in the shelter because he was so shut down. Thumper has been spending time with @alwaystrainingk9s as he’s been working to build his confidence and comfort in new environments. He’s made progress with structure and routine and will need an adopter who is comfortable implementing boundaries until he can decompress and adjust to his new home environment. Due to his nervousness, he would do best in a laidback home with a fenced-in backyard. Thumper is dog-friendly and would love another pup around to help show him the ropes, if that’s an option. This little guy has come so far and we’re so excited to see him continue to come out of his shell. He needs someone who excited to have a new pint-sized companion and will be patient as he continues to learn how fun the world can be. @alwaystrainingk9s will be happy to support as he transitions and adjusts to his new home by offering three free training sessions.
