Slinky

Dachshund lovers, we have the pup for you!! Meet Slinky. He's a 7-year-old, 12 lb Dachshund who is the sweetest senior guy. Slinky came into our care with Demodex mange. He's currently receiving the medical care he needs, his fur is growing back, and will receive a dental covered by Wags and Walks. Slinky is cuddly, affectionate, and happy to lounge. He's a total lap dog and will do best in a forever home where his love for the lazy life is appreciated! He's dog-friendly but would be happiest with another mellow companion or as a solo pup who can soak up all the snuggles! He can be timid when meeting new people but warms up quickly and accepts cuddles from his new friends. He enjoys daily walks and happily lounges in his foster's yard, soaking up the sun. He does well in his crate and is catching on to potty training with a routine. He's eager to please and exceptionally food-motivated, so he'll be a pro in no time with continued training.
