Shiloh

If you are looking for a big boy who is loyal, loving, full of joy, and just wants you to be his person, then Shiloh may be the dog for you! When we first rescued Shiloh in 2021, he was left in a motel elevator with severe burns all over his face and body. It took him several months to recover and heal, but Shiloh proved to be incredibly resilient. You can still see some scarring on his face but beyond that, you’d never know he endured such a heartbreaking past. Shiloh is back in our care due to lifestyle and household dynamics that weren’t a fit long-term. After some time decompressing in foster care, he is ready to find his forever home!⁠

This handsome boy is a 4-year-old, 123lb, half American bully and half Great Pyrenees mix. He is a smart boy who is potty-trained, crate-trained, and knows a few commands like “sit”, “stay”, and “down”. He loves to romp and play and be chased around, but is also content to snuggle up right next to you and chew a bone or sleep. His signature greeting is coming up and bumping his snout into your face (his version of kisses), and he loves to lay outside on his back with a chew toy in his mouth and the sun on his belly. Shiloh previously lived with two other male dogs and did best with the more laid back, submissive pup as he can have a more dominant personality amongst a pack. Shiloh will thrive in a home with another pup who is more mellow and docile, or in a single-dog household. He is a gentle and careful boy around children and would absolutely love to be a family pet. Shiloh will do well in a variety of homes, especially if he has a yard to run and play in or has direct outdoor access. This sweet boy will make a loyal and loving companion for anyone lucky enough to call him theirs! ⁠
