Max

Meet Max! This gentle giant is a 7-year-old, 78lb, lab mix. He is a sweet, mellow, and laid-back boy who loves sniffing around in the yard, napping in a warm blanket, and cuddling up with his people. We rescued Max after his owner passed away. Max had a pre-existing injury when he came into our care, and unfortunately, it did not heal properly, so he had to have one of his back legs amputated. However, Max is quickly adjusting and figuring out his new life as a tripod dog!

This sweet boy is potty trained, knows some basic commands, and is still working on his crate training with his foster. Max is a dog-friendly boy who would enjoy the company of other mild-mannered pups but is also comfortable as a solo dog. Because of his calm and easygoing nature, we think he would do best in a quiet home where he can enjoy life at a slow pace.

Max will make an excellent companion for an adopter looking for a docile, affectionate senior pup.
