If your ideal pup is an affectionate and tender lovebug, Sophie may be your girl! This smiley girl is a 2-year-old, 55lb mixed-breed pup with the most loving and affectionate personality! Sophie's foster says she is an angel pup who just wants to be by your side and get as much affection as possible. Whether you're tidying up the house or lounging on the couch, Sophie is there by your side ready for whatever the day may bring! Not only is she a total lovebug that will steal your heart as soon as she crawls into your lap, but when she's extra excited, she's known to flash a toothy grin that is sure to make you laugh!⁠

If you've been keeping up with our most recent urgent case out of rural Tennessee, Sophie is one of the 18 pups we were able to rescue and bring into our program. Despite her past, this sweet girl is full of joy and happy body wiggles, and she will do well in most homes. She can sometimes be timid when trying new things that are unfamiliar to her, but her foster says it has been a delight watching her confidence grow every single day! She is a dog-friendly pup who wouldn't mind the company of a mild-mannered doggie friend in her new home, but she could also be comfortable as a solo pup. This happy girl is potty trained and crate trained and is working on basic commands with the help of her foster. With further training in her new home, she'll be a well-rounded pup in no time!
