Volunteer Appreciation Week: Wags Club Walkers of 2021
Our dog walking program, Wags Club, consists of amazing volunteers who help us to care for our pups while they patiently await meeting their forever families. Each member of our volunteer community is an essential part of making our life-saving work happen.
Today we are giving a special shout out to 20 volunteers who have volunteered the most hours in 2021 so far! Our top-performing volunteers of 2021 are the reason we have been able to save almost 300 dogs this year already. Some have been with Wags for years, while others began volunteering with us only last month. To each of you, we are so grateful you are part of the Wags family!

We wanted to share our appreciation for you, as well as each person who donates their time and attention to our dogs in need. It takes a village and every dog walked makes a difference both for Wags as a whole and in the life of each pup. From all of us at Wags & Walks, both human and dog, thank you for all you do!
We also want to take this opportunity to say thank you to our incredible transport volunteers. These volunteers generously offer their time to ensure our pups get the medical care they need. They are the reason we can continue to save more lives, as their support means each dog will receive any needed medical attention. Whether it’s an emergency trip to the vet, a spay/neuter surgery, or a chemo appointment, our essential transport team makes sure our dogs receive the help they need. From the bottom of our hearts here at Wags, thank you transport volunteers!
If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer at Wags & Walks, please fill out an application and we’ll be in touch!
