Maisie
Maisie is a sweet and playful 1-year-old beagle who weighs 20 pounds and is full of affection. Typical to her beagle roots, Maisie can be a bit vocal in her kennel as she eagerly greets anyone who approaches. She’s an affectionate pup who loves to solicit attention and enjoys cuddling up in your lap, but she’s still working on her manners and may need some guidance to respect personal space. Maisie can get excited, especially during high-energy play or in busy environments, but she’s also capable of calming down with some patience and structure.
She is social and gets along well with other dogs, though she can be a bit dominant in playgroups, especially with other high-energy pups so she’d pair well with another pup who is okay with that play style. Maisie is working on leash manners and can pull a bit when excited, but she’s improving with each walk as our staff has been working on her leash skills. With continued patience and positive reinforcement, Maisie will continue to blossom and we have no doubt that she will make an affectionate and playful companion!
