Meet our Adoptable Pups
Nearly 16,500 families have found their forever friends through Wags & Walks, and you can too.
Most of our dogs live in foster homes while they wait to be adopted, which helps us learn their personalities and prepare them for life with their forever families. Some dogs are also available to meet at our adoption centers.

Meet Pesto!
Breed: Pug Mix
Age: 3 years old
Gender: Male
Weight: 16 lbs
This 3-year-old, 16-lb Pug mix is a fun, sweet pup. We fell in love with Pesto’s irresistible underbite at an overcrowded shelter where he had been brought as a stray. Now, safely in our care, he is coming out of his shell and showing us what a sweetheart he is. He wants to be wherever you are and will follow you from room to room as your loyal shadow once he trusts you. This sweet guy loves a routine and will put himself to bed after the last walk of the night. He loves to play fetch and gets the cutest zoomies around the house. He can be hesitant when meeting new friends, but warms up with patience and gentle pets. He loves going for walks and exploring the great outdoors and is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. This smart boy is fully potty-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. He will thrive with loving adopters who will give him a consistent routine and encouragement as he opens up. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion, Pesto could be your boy!
Hello! My name is Kobe. I was recently rescued, so the people at Wags are still getting to know me, but here are the basics:
Breed: Maltipoo
Age: 1 year old
Gender: Male
Weight: 23 lbs
Meet Grayson!
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: 10 years old
Gender: Male
Weight: 59 lbs
This 10-year-old, 59-lb guy is a mushy love bug who is ready to meet his forever family. Grayson was picked up as a stray and brought to a crowded LA County shelter. He was covered in lumps and bumps, and his back foot was extremely swollen. We were concerned that the swelling around his foot could be cancer, but thankfully, X-rays ruled out anything malignant. He has since undergone surgery to have his masses removed and is living a healthy, normal life. Now all he needs is a forever home! This sweetheart is a smart, social boy who loves to make new friends. He loves going out for walks and would happily play with his toys for hours. He is a snuggly senior with plenty of pep in his step. This well-behaved guy already knows some basic training commands like ‘sit’ and ‘down’ and is eager to learn more. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal best friend, Grayson could be your guy!
Meet Babette!
Breed: Mixed Breed
Age: 2 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 29 lbs
This 2-year-old, 29-lb gal is a soulful sweetheart with lots of love to give. When we rescued Babette from an overcrowded shelter, we couldn’t tell if she was shy and shut down or not feeling well. Once we got back to our adoption center, we learned that she had developed Pyometra, a severe, life-threatening uterine infection that required emergency surgery. Thankfully, we were able to get her the emergency care she needed, and she is healing beautifully in a loving foster home and will make a full recovery. This social girl loves to meet people and will eagerly ask for pets and cuddles from everyone within a 30-foot radius. She is a professional napper who sleeps like a log but still plays like a champ when the mood strikes. Babette is fully potty-trained and walks beautifully on a leash. She needs to be the only pet in her forever home and will thrive with loving adopters who will give her plenty of encouragement as she adjusts and as many cuddles as she wants. If you’re looking for a soulful, loyal best friend, Babette could be your girl!
Meet Lilac!
Breed: Terrier Mix
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 29 lbs
Lilac was brought to a crowded shelter while pregnant and gave birth to three puppies just five days later. When her puppies were only nine days old, we learned about their situation and welcomed the whole family into our care so they could grow up safe and supported. All of Lilac's puppies have found their forever homes, so now, it's their mama's turn to meet her perfect match!
Lilac is a sweet, social, medium-energy gal who enjoys spending time with her people and pup friends and entertaining herself with her toys. She is always super excited to spend time outside and gets the silliest zoomies. She loves to explore when she's out and about, and we think she could make an excellent adventure buddy. Lilac can be a bit shy when meeting new friends, but quickly opens up with a little encouragement.
This lovable gal is fully potty-trained and working on perfecting her leash manners and already knows how to sit patiently while getting ready for walks. If you're looking for a gentle, resilient companion with lots of love to give, Lilac might be the perfect match!

Meet Rooster, a 3-year-old, 69lb mixed breed who is genuinely a big sweetheart. Rooster is a friendly, affectionate guy who seems very comfortable around people and other dogs. He’s easy to handle, walks beautifully on leash with no pulling, and enjoys getting attention from his people. He’s also done well with every dog he’s been introduced to, showing a calm, social personality without overwhelming his canine friends. He’s happy to greet you with a wagging tail, spend some time by your side, and enjoy a little playtime when the opportunity comes up. If you’re looking for a big, loving dog with a well-balanced personality, Rooster could be a wonderful match. He’s ready for a home where he can settle in, get plenty of affection, and be someone’s big sweet boy.
Meet Pooh! This 1-year-old, 16lb Frenchie girl looks like she could be Stitch’s long-lost twin. She’s a happy, sweet girl with an easygoing personality and did well sharing her space with several dogs much larger than she is. She’s also easy to handle and enjoys being around people. She’s still young and is still growing into her charming personality, but she already seems to have the kind of friendly, adaptable nature that makes her a fun companion. Whether she’s hanging out with her people or meeting new canine friends, she’s happy to be included. If you’re looking for a smaller dog with a big personality and an unmistakably cute face, this special girl could be the one for you.
Meet Lady, a 1-year-old, 16lb Terrier/Poodle mix who is ready to find a home where she can settle in and show off her personality. Lady is a young girl who is still getting comfortable in her new surroundings. She may need a little time to adjust, but she’s at an age where she has plenty of room to grow, learn, and build confidence with the right person by her side. She’ll benefit from a patient adopter who understands that settling into a new home doesn’t happen overnight. A calm environment, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement will help Lady feel comfortable and learn what it means to be part of a family. Once she gets settled, there's plenty personality waiting to come out. Lady is ready for someone who will give her the time and support she needs to get there.
Meet Lainey, a 2-year-old, 15lb Poodle mix who is looking for a quiet place to feel safe and settle in. Lainey is a very sweet girl who is understandably overwhelmed by the shelter environment. She can be shy and reserved at first and may need some time before she feels comfortable interacting with new people. She is gentle and can be handled and held, and she’s already shown us that treats are a good way to start earning her trust. We think Lainey will really benefit from the comfort and consistency of a foster or adoptive home where she can decompress and begin building confidence at her own pace. Having another friendly, confident dog around may also help her feel more comfortable as she learns that she’s safe. With patience, time, and a little encouragement, her sweet personality will start to shine. She deserves someone willing to give her the time she needs to get there.
Meet Trixie, a 6-year-old, 72lb Terrier mix who has an easygoing nature. Trixie is a friendly, mellow girl who enjoys the simple things, especially a good head scratch and a comfortable spot to relax. She has done well with canine companions, showing a calm and social personality. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the center of attention. Trixie is perfectly content to take things at her own pace, whether that means spending time with her people or finding a cozy spot to settle in for a nap. If you’re looking for a relaxed, affectionate companion who would be happy to hang out by your side, Trixie could be your girl. She’s ready for a home where she can enjoy a little more comfort, plenty of love, and all the head scratches she can get.
Meet Red, a 1-year-old, 35lb Pittie mix who has spent much of his young life waiting for his chance to move forward. Red was surrendered with Goldie to the shelter about five months ago and remained there while they were part of a cruelty case hold. They were finally released this month, along with several other dogs from the case, and Red is now ready to start the next chapter of his life. Despite spending months in a shelter, Red has continued to show what a sweet, playful, affectionate dog he is. He’s friendly with other dogs and loves getting attention from people. He’s still very much a young dog with plenty of puppy energy, and he’s ready for a home where he can play, explore, learn, and just enjoy being a dog. Red has already spent far too much of his first year waiting. Now he’s looking for a family who can give him the time, attention, and stability he’s been missing and help him make up for all the puppyhood he didn’t get to experience. If you're looking for a younger pup who is so deserving of a second chance, Red is ready for a home and a family he can call his own.
Meet Sally, a 1-year-old, 18lb Chihuahua mix who is a friendly little girl with an outgoing personality and plenty of enthusiasm for life. She’s an easygoing pup who is eager to meet people, happy to be held, and always ready to head out for a walk and explore. Her social, confident personality makes her a great companion for someone looking for a smaller dog who enjoys being around her people. She’s still young and has plenty of life ahead of her, so she’ll be a fun dog to continue growing and learning with. Whether she’s out for a walk, getting some attention, or simply hanging out with her person, she’s happy to be along for the ride. If you’re looking for a small, friendly companion with an outgoing personality, this sweet girl could be a great match.
Meet George, a 1-year-old, 12lb Chihuahua mix with a sweet personality and a classic Chi combination of confidence and charm. George can be a little shy at first, but once he’s comfortable, he’s happy to be part of the action. He’s also perfectly content being carried around by his person while occasionally making sure everyone knows he’s actually a much bigger dog than he looks. He's also great with other dogs and would do well with another canine sibling or soaking up all the affection as a solo pup. George is a great size for someone looking for a smaller companion, and his friendly nature makes him an easy pup to have around. He’ll do best with a family who can give him a little time to settle in while letting his personality come out at his own pace. If you’re looking for a small dog with a sweet disposition and just enough big-dog attitude, George might be your guy.
Meet the Game Litter! These 8-week-old Terrier mix puppies are a playful bunch who are ready to find families of their own. Like most puppies their age, they’re curious, energetic, social, and still figuring out the world around them. They love to play, explore, and get attention, and they’re at the perfect age to start learning all the important things that come with being a well-rounded family dog. These pups will likely stay on the smaller side once fully grown, but they’ll still need plenty of time, patience, and guidance as they grow. Raising a puppy comes with its share of challenges, but it also comes with plenty of fun and can be such a rewarding experience. The Game Litter is ready to find families who are excited to take on both and give them the structure, patience, and love they need to grow into great dogs.

This gentle boy is expected to be a medium to large-sized dog when he’s fully grown, and will need plenty of love and support in the coming months! Meet Finn!
Breed: Cattle Dog Mix
Age: 2 months old
Gender: Male
Weight: 9 lbs
Sweet little boy Finn came into our care along with his sibling, Floro and Forge, from a crowded shelter in the south. Now safe and ready for a fresh start, Finn is looking for his forever home in the Hamptons!
Like most young puppies, Finn is full of curiosity and loves spending the day exploring, playing with toys, and making new friends. This little boy is a total snuggle bug! After playtime is done, he will happily curl into a ball in your lap for a good cuddle. Finn is doing well in a foster home with other pups, but he would also be more than happy as a solo dog in his forever home.
As Finn continues to grow, he will thrive with a family that's excited to provide plenty of training, socialization, and love while experiencing all of the joys and occasional challenges of puppyhood. If you're looking for a happy, affectionate pup to add to your family, Finn is ready to meet you!
Meet Joni!
Breed: Pug Mix
Age: 8 years old
Gender: Female
Weight: 11 lbs
Joni’s spirit is full of joy and her heart is full of love. This very sweet, gentle girl is friendly and trusting, greeting new people with happy wiggles and a tail that never seems to stop wagging. It’s no surprise that she’s a staff favorite. There is no thing or no one that Joni doesn’t love! She is adaptable to any environment she’s in and is always ready to put a smile on your face.
Joni is potty trained and crate trained, low energy, and generally calm and mellow. She’s happiest with a cozy routine and a daily walk, which she truly enjoys. She loves being close to her people and is a true snugglebug. She coexists well with other dogs big and small, but would also be happy as a solo pup in her forever home.
Joni is also quite curious and enjoys sniffing around, and she has an adorable habit of seeking out high places like the back of a couch or a chair, so she’s always a part of the action. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who brings warmth, cuddles, and constant smiles, Joni is ready to be your new best friend.

Thank you Wags & Walks for bringing so much love into our home. We love everything this organization stands for (from rescuing, to providing medical care, funding treatment, donating supplies, gathering volunteers to transport and foster and then to finally bringing happiness home)-- we are beyond proud to play a small part of this wonderful community!

We cannot thank Wags and Walks enough for bringing Cannoli into our lives. What started as a foster for Lennon from The Beatles litter quickly turned into a foster failure, as we saw how seamlessly Cannoli fit into our family. Wags and Walks made the process easy, which helped confirm that we were making the right decision!

Forever indebted to Wags & Walks for bringing this girl home to us. What started off as a foster, turned into us adopting our fur family member we couldn’t imagine life without. The foster program and adoption program are exceptional and there’s really no other place you need to search. Their work is incredible and inspiring! Could not admire the team behind Wags & Walks more!
